• Memory Care Programs (mental & memory stimulation)
• Pet Interaction Therapy (emotional and mental stimulation)

Staff members supervise all activities. Exercise classes may be done from a sitting position and are in accordance with the resident’s level of ability. Letter writing to family and friends helps promote feelings of connection and alleviates feelings of isolation or abandonment. Pet interaction is generally with small, docile pets, including dogs, cats, and birds. Legacy group allows residents to recall and share their life experiences, and while stimulating the memory, it also promotes feelings of sentiment and pride, as well as feelings of connection with other residents. We also invite community volunteers to provide computer classes, lectures, shows and plays, and a variety of other services that are always enjoyed by our residents. All volunteers are supervised.
